Description[]

The Shotgun is a grey gun with military markings and a laser aiming system pointing in a straight line. The shotgun shoots five bullets at extremely high speeds. Each bullet does moderate damage and will vaporize after a certain short distance away. The shotgun shoots the bullets in such a way that the bullets have a wide range of fire. To maximise the damage, firing at close range or with a stabilizer is recommended.

Shotgun clips

The clips of the shotgun might not look big, but at least if all bullets hit an enemy, it can deal around 400% damage every clip.

History[]

In Raze 1, this weapon appeared as the Flame Shotgun, which dealt out extremely high damage. Despite the name and projectile difference, these two guns do almost identical damage. They are also similar, if not identical, in appearance. However, the flame shotgun from Raze 1 has a better range and can fire up to distances of half the screen radii much to some people's annoyance. However, this range disadvantage is more than made up for its power, as the shotgun of Raze 2 can deals more consistent damage due to its accuracy.

Reality[]

A shotgun (also known as a scattergun and peppergun, or historically as a fowling piece) is a firearm that is usually designed to be fired from the shoulder. It uses the energy of a fixed shell to fire a number of small spherical pellets called shot, or a solid projectile called a slug.

It is one of gamers' favorite guns, as well as a classic zombie-brain-blower. It is also famed for its explosive wave performance, literally.

Notes[]

  • One of the best guns to use in Level 15 Alien Campaign: A Soldier's Demise
  • Use it up close to make it extremely lethal.
  • Two shots to finish off a robot or a zombie.
  • Does twenty damage, as high as a magnum, times five!
  • Still does high damage from medium range, but no damage at long range
  • It can get past Adrenaline Boost sometimes...but it needs to hit a critical. Don't shoot too close to someone with adrenaline boost. Otherwise the Adrenaline Boost does its job.
  • The upside of it's spread: Some bullets might hit a critical, even when you don't aim.
  • It's possible to die before all the bullets come out of the shotgun. So even if you shot someone just before you died, they might not suffer the full damage.
